Named after my husband’s maternal grandmother who always served cranberry and 7up at gatherings. I never had the chance to meet her but they say she had a larger than life personality and style to match.
This cocktail is perfect for any holiday gathering and the recipe makes enough to serve a crowd.
WHAT MAKES UP THE DIRTY HARRIET
Cranberry Juice & Ginger Beer. Close to the original Harriet beverage but with a little ginger flavor.
Lemon Juice. To brighten it up!
Bourbon. Why we call it dirty.
Brown sugar rosemary syrup. To round it all out.
Festive ice. Because she was extra before that was how people described it.
MAKE AHEAD
You can prepare the brown sugar rosemary simple syrup and festive ice ahead of time. Store the syrup in the fridge until you’re ready to party.
